I am a Navajo artist from the Towering House Clan and Zuni Red Running Into Water People. My work blends vibrant color, pattern, and storytelling to honor identity, memory, and spirit. I use bold palettes, glitter, and mixed-media textures to create portraits that radiate femininity, resilience, and life.
My practice is rooted in family history and cultural teachings, while also influenced by pop aesthetics and contemporary art. I see my paintings as bridges between ancestral stories and modern expression—each piece carrying both beauty and survival, past and present.
As a mother, poet, and storyteller, I draw inspiration from lived experience, weaving personal narratives with collective memory. I want my work to spark conversation, celebrate Indigenous voices, and connect people to the power of imagination and tradition.
I have participated in community-based cultural projects and fundraisers in Los Angeles that bring art into spaces of healing and advocacy. Living and working in Southern California, I continue to expand my practice at the intersection of art, identity, and community.
